Asake drops sophomore album ‘Work of Art’.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Asake releases his second album, 'Work of Art' under YBNL/EMPIRE. The project consists of 14th carefully selected tracks with the right lyrics and melodies. 'Work of Art initially saw the release of 'Amapiano' ft record executive of YBNL Nation, Olamide, '2:30' and 'Yoga'. Burna Boy, Tems, Asake, Ayra Starr nominated for 2023 BET Awards

The nominees for the 2023 BET awards have been announced and Nigerian megastar Burna Boy has earned multiple nominations while Ayra Starr, Asake, and Tems also earned nominations. Burna Boy was nominated for Male Artist R&B/Pop Artist, Video Director of the Year, Viewer's Choice and Best International Act. Tems was nominated for Best Female Artist and for Best Collaboration for her part in Future's 'Wait For U.

Asake to headline his first concert at the 02 Arena this August

Taking to social media on May 5, 2023, the singer made it known that his headline show at the Arena would be held on August 20, 2023. Asake has announced the official date for his headline concert at the iconic O2 Arena, London.

Asake Beats Burna Boy & Others to Win Best African Artiste at 2023 VGMAs

The event, which took place in Accra on May 6, 2023, saw Asake win the "Best African Artiste" category, beating fellow Nigerians Burna Boy, Asake, Kizz Daniel, and Ayra Starr to the award that also had newcomers The Therapist and Cameroonian-American singer Libianca in contention. The YBNL act beat heavyweights like Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, and others at the just concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards
