Shallipopi, Chike, Nasboi Set to Ignite the 17th Headies Awards Stage in Lagos

The 17th edition of the Headies Awards scheduled for April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, is poised to be a landmark event in the Nigerian music industry, with a stellar lineup of performers announced for the ceremony. The headies took to its official Instagram page to unveil the list of performing artist.

The awards will feature performances by Shallipopi, who has emerged as a dominant force in the Nigerian music scene. With six nominations, including a nod for the prestigious Next Rated prize, his performance at the Headies is highly anticipated.

Billed to also perform is  Chike, a previous Headies Award winner, who secured four nominations at the 17th headies, including Song of the Year. Also confirmed for the award ceremony is celebrated musician Flavour, who is a recipient of the Headies Lifetime Achievement Award.

Other performing acts announced for the upcoming ceremony include Next Rated Award nominees Qing Madi and Nasboi.
