The wait is over! Multi-award-winning artist Rude Boy recently sat down with Super Girl and Sarah Bleux on Cosoro Radio’s Rhythm Express, sharing candid insights and clearing up misconceptions.

Rude Boy’s Solo Journey: Challenges and Triumphs

Rude Boy opened up about his experiences as a solo artist, revealing the initial struggles and pressures of meeting fan expectations. He confessed that starting his solo career seven years ago was challenging, but he’s found comfort in performing his own music.

A Promise to Himself

On selecting songs to perform, Rude Boy said, “One thing I promise myself is that if I’m going to do whatever I want to do, I’m not going to perform any P-Square song.” He stressed that he feels more comfortable singing his own songs, although he sometimes drops snippets of P-Square songs.

Setting the Record Straight

Rude Boy addressed misconceptions surrounding P-Square and his family, stating that he won’t discuss his personal life due to the media’s sensationalism. He emphasized that domestic issues are universal and don’t require public explanation.

Finding Peace and Good Music

Rude Boy shared his philosophy on finding peace and moving forward, saying, “Allow things to heal; don’t force it.” He also discussed his appreciation for good music, distancing himself from trends and defining Afrobeat in his own words.
