Jean-Mikhael is a West London born and bred fully rounded artist and fashion icon. If you’d like to put boxes around his genre, you could say it’s contemporary r&b/alternative pop with a nostalgic vibe.
He stepped on the music scene towards the end of 2018 debuting his exceptional ‘The Deal’ EP, followed by the singles ‘Rollin’ in 2019 and ‘Neighbours Are Calling’ in 2021.

‘Dreamer’ talks about another person having feelings for them but being emotionally unavailable to reciprocate. They acknowledge that the other person expresses their desire for a deeper connection but understands that they cannot provide what the other person wants.

The dreamer admits to feeling like a villain, as they suggest that the other person may be delusional to think that anything more could happen between them. They emphasise the importance of self-reflection and self-improvement before entering into a relationship with another person.

The dreamer recognises that love can be a beautiful thing, but also acknowledges that it can be scary and vulnerable. They believe that love takes people on a unique journey and provides experiences that cannot be replicated. They conclude by saying that love is an integral part of life.

If you dig a little bit deeper, you will quickly realise that the young BRIT School graduate does not conform to any genre. As true artists do, the songwriter uses his personal life, his experiences, laughter and pain mixed with an eclectic array of different influences to create a truly unique musicality and branding.

He is also an accomplished model, working in the fashion world gave him a keen sense of taste, perfectly coupling with his music to create an authentic, unapologetic and engaging branding.
