Ayra Starr Joins Sexyy Red as Headliners at AfroNation Dominican Republic

Afrobeat sensation Ayra Starr has been confirmed as a headline act for the AfroNation Festival Dominican Republic, joining American rap star Sexyy Red at the forefront of the island’s electrifying event.

Having performed at major festivals such as Afro Nation Portugal and Afro Nation Detroit, she brings her high-energy presence to a new stage in the Caribbean. The festival will take place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from November 7–9, 2025 and other Afrobeats stars scheduled to perform include Shallipopi and Ruger.

With events previously hosted in Portugal, Miami, Detroit, Ghana, and Puerto Rico, AfroNation has become a premier festival celebrating Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, Dancehall, and more. The Dominican Republic edition marks the festival’s continued expansion throughout the Afro‑Diaspora.
