Davido’s ‘Timeless’ Earns Silver Certification in the UK

Davido’s fourth studio album, Timeless, has officially been awarded a Silver certification in the United Kingdom, after surpassing 100,000 units sold. The certification recognizes the album’s commercial success in the UK market.

Released on March 31, 2023, Timeless made a thunderous debut across the globe. In Nigeria alone, it shattered multiple records, including most first-day streams for an African album on Spotify Nigeria and Record-breaking week one streams on Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube Nigeria.

With a blend of Afrobeats, dancehall, highlife, and pop influences, Timeless elevated Davido’s sound and message to a global audience, ultimately earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Global Album.

The album’s standout track, “Unavailable” featuring South Africa’s Musa Keys, was also certified Silver in the UK.
