Davido to Headline 2025 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to headline the 2025 Essence Festival of Culture as on its performers. The festival, renowned for celebrating Black culture and excellence, will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, from July 4 to July 6, 2025.

Scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2025, Davido’s performance will be part of a powerhouse evening headlined by Grammy-winning artist Jill Scott, who will present “A Philly Jawn” featuring Jazmine Sullivan and the legendary Patti LaBelle. Other confirmed artists for the night include neo-soul icon Erykah Badu, reggae veteran Buju Banton, R&B sensation Summer Walker, and Ghanaian-American artist Moliy. R&B singer Donell Jones will also deliver a special Super Lounge performance.

The 2025 Essence Festival of Culture, presented by Coca-Cola, promises an unforgettable experience with a blend of music, culture, and community. In addition to the main stage performances, the festival will feature the return of the Super Lounges, offering intimate performances from emerging artists.
