Afrobeats heavyweight Davido has once again underscored his global appeal by completely selling out the 19,000-capacity Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on July  26, 2025 and earning a commemorative plaque to mark the achievement.

The sold‑out Toronto performance was part of Davido’s 5ive Alive Tour, which has taken him across North America. The Scotiabank Arena show impressed fans with high‑energy renditions of major hits like “Unavailable,” “FIA,” “Risky,” and “Champion Sound.” This underscores his ability to consistently fill top-tier venues across multiple continents.

Davido first broke records in London, becoming the second Nigerian artist to sell out O2 Arena in January 2019, repeating the feat in March 2022. In 2024, he sold out Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York, joining the elite group of African artists who have headlined and sold out the iconic 20,000‑capacity venue.

His track record  still includes multiple sold‑out shows in Toronto and the U.S., such as Toyota Center (Houston, ~19,000), Kia Forum (Los Angeles, ~18,000), Liacouras Center (Philadelphia, ~10,000), and more, each further proof of his widespread appeal and consistent drawing power.

Reacting to the show on his social media page, Davido restated his belief that his steps are ordained by a higher power while encouraging others to pursue their dream.

“God has already written every page of your life, but don’t get stuck on page !!! Dreams don’t work unless you do,” he posted on X.
