Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy has solidified his position as a global Afrobeats powerhouse by extending his record as the most certified Nigerian artist in France.

The Grammy-winning artist recently earned his latest Platinum SNEP certification for his collaboration on Coldplay’s track “We Pray,” featured on their 2024 album Moon Music. This achievement brings his total to 10 songs certified by France’s National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), underscoring his widespread appeal in the European market.

Burna Boy’s success in France is not a recent development. His hit singles “Last Last” and “On The Low” have both achieved Diamond status, while tracks like “Gbona,” “YE,” and “City Boy” have been awarded Platinum certifications. Additionally, songs such as “Alone,” “For My Hand” featuring Ed Sheeran, and “Anybody” have earned Gold certifications, further cementing his dominance in the French music scene.

As Burna Boy continues to break records and achieve new milestones, he is set to release his eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, in 2025. With the release of singles like “Tatata,” featuring Travis Scott, he aims to further solidify his status as one of Africa’s leading global music icons.
