This victory ties him with Stormzy as the most-decorated rapper in MOBO Awards history. His meteoric rise in UK rap continues to solidify his position as one of the genre’s leading figures, with his hit collaborations like “Band4Band” and “Sprinter.”

Darkoo’s Dual Success

British-Nigerian vocalist Darkoo secured two major awards: Best Female Act and Song of the Year for her hit “Favourite Girl,” featuring Dess Dior. Her success underscores her growing influence in the music industry.

Bashy Earns Two Major Wins

British rapper Bashy also made a statement at the event, securing Album of the Year for his record Being Poor Is Expensive. This marked his return to the MOBO Awards after a 15-year hiatus since his debut album.
